How To Improve Your Attitude Behaviour

How To Improve Your Attitude Behaviour

1. Be assertive = you want to make sure your personality is dominant and that your presence cannot be ignored. Otherwise, who will notice that you have a certain attitude? Practice this so you can do it naturally.

- Assert your independence by not going along with everything just because it's popular (clothing style, popular music, TV shows, movies, etc.).

- Act as if you're much better than other people and therefore deserve more. Combine this with your assertiveness. For example, borrow your sister's clothes without permission, push your parents to buy you an iPhone, and play your music very loud late at night when others are trying to sleep. Never apologize for your behavior.

- Be persistent. If others try to get you to behave differently, do something you don't want to do, or change your behavior, be persistent. You'll maintain your attitude no matter how other people feel about it

2. . Ignore the consequences= If you have an attitude, you'll take a lot of criticism for your behaviour. People (especially adults) won't be happy with you and will probably try to punish you. If you want to behave properly, you need to ignore these consequences or do something about them

- Ignore what you don't want to do and drop everything except what you do want to do. This means not doing your homework and instead spending time watching movies, playing video games, hanging out with your friends, etc.

- Ignore reality. Everything you do will have consequences. The more you act out to the authority figures in your life, the more you'll be punished. If you ignore things like school, struggle to get a job, or expect things to just fall into your lap, it probably won't end well for you. To keep your attitude, you need to ignore these possible consequences.

3. Dress appropriately= You need to make sure people notice your attitude, and one way to do that is to dress in a way that makes people notice how little you care, or by actively trying to piss people off.

- Wear things that your parents wouldn't approve of, such as clothes that don't fit you properly, have inappropriate slogans, or are dirty and torn.

- Create your own style. You want to show people that you don't care what they think of you. You can do that by creating your own style. Remember, you don't want to just wear black to show your attitude (anyone can do that), but you want to make yourself unique.

- Piercings and tattoos are all the rage among the rebellious and those who really want to piss off their parents. However, you have to be over 18 to get a tattoo or piercing without your parents' permission, unless you go to a disreputable shop (and that's bad for things like infections, so it's not recommended

4. Use the right body language. Body language is the perfect tool to show how you feel. To show the right attitude, you need to use the right body language to let those around you know what's going on.

- Cross your arms in front of your chest. While this is a defensive gesture, it can also be a gesture of annoyance or boredom and means you aren't interested in the person or people you're with.

- Rolling your eyes is a good way to express irritation or ridicule toward another person. No matter what the other person says, be sure to roll your eyes, especially if you're in trouble for breaking the rules.

- No eye contact or too much eye contact is a good way to show attitude. If you don't make eye contact, it can be very irritating to others because it shows a lack of interest on your part. Too much eye contact can be intimidating.

5. Say what comes to mind= Don't filter the things you say. If they're rude, so what? You want to have an attitude, and an attitude means you don't care how the things you do and say affect others.

- Point out the mistakes of others. When people make mistakes (especially adults like your parents or teachers), you should ridicule them for it. Say things like, "Oh my God, Mom, I can't believe you let dinner burn. Can't you do anything right?"

- Speaking your mind is a great skill to cultivate, and it'll also serve you well when you want to make a point. If someone is wearing a really ugly outfit, be sure to tell them. If your friend is making fun of a boy, you should be vocal about it.
